CEO Assistant and Researcher, THE BALANCE PROJECT

As assistant to Mary Frank, Sarah also supports the Balance Project by providing research on sponsors, non profits and show content.

Sarah's work as an educator with non-profits began with Arts in Progress, an organization that provides education and healthy development to urban children through the arts.  This created the foundation for her work in Boulder, Colorado,  where she became director of the Children's Peace Garden,  a community garden cooperative called Growing Gardens.  Sarah designed and implemented a playground out of foods and plants, working with children and teens, while teaching nutrition, and organic gardening practices which encourage environmental stewardship, friendship, peace and respect.  Before and during this time Sarah was also a co-manager to Real Live Foods, an organic wheatgrass farm.

After moving to the San Francisco Bay area, Sarah's dedication to being at home raising her son, inspired her to create a green business called PLAY, a whimsical, one of a kind, artisan made clothing and accessories line for children and adults.  Sarah is also a certified Massage and Reiki practitioner. Sarah's diverse background in the arts, non profits, education, organic farming, green business, and therapeutic bodywork have the opportunity to merge in her work with The Balance Project.
