Broadcast Media Specialist for the Balance Project

Lauris’ specialty is media strategy.  She brings extensive experience in all facets of tactical media planning and buying negotiations – with special expertise in broadcast television and radio.

Traditional ad agency experience was the cornerstone of her background. Early in her career she recognized the significance of the green community and helped to create an ongoing environmental alliance between Earth Day, Northwest Natural Gas, and broadcasters in Portland, Oregon. She also worked many years for buying services before opening her own media consultancy in 1999.

Lauris’ experience in media includes a wide range of business categories from retail and direct response to corporate branding to business-to-business marketing.  Her responsibilities encompassed  supervising all media management issues including research and strategic planning, budget and timeline stewardship, media negotiations and implementation, promotional value added support, and quality control.
